Duncan Hendry is a Tauranga-based composer, and a New Zealand School of Music Te Kōkī graduate. He enjoys writing cinematic orchestral music with a uniquely playful/whimsical touch. His work is also influenced by video game music composers such as Andrew Prahlow and Kevin Penkin.

Talking about the inspiration behind his piece "Astral Drift," Duncan writes that the music follows a ship's journey as it 'sails' through the celestial currents of the cosmos. This is his first time creating a professionally-produced rendering of his music, and he couldn't be happier with the result.
